Numb big toe: The more common reasons for just the big toe going numb are a bunion, a stiff joint at the base of your toe, injury, or arthritis in the toe. A podiatrist will be able to determine the cause and treat this problem.

Numbness: Is related to nerve. Do you have a bunion? Often the nerve will be trapped between bone and soft tissue in a shoe.
