A member asked:

What does it mean if you put lotion on the skin and it burned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sensitive skin: You may be sensitive to one of the ingredients in the lotion. Try using a cream (in a tube or jar) that is fragrance-free instead. Lotions by definition have more water and alcohol and can be more irritating for the skin. Also, be careful to avoid fragrance, as it can irritate already delicate skin.
