Whats vcug ultrasound for men?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Two Studies: Vcug (voiding cystourethrogram) is a study in which the bladder is filled with contrast and then voiding is observed under realtime xray (fluoroscopy). Vcug can detect abnormalities including urine reflux up the ureters and bladder diverticula. Renal ultrasound is also often obtained to determine if the kidneys appear healthy and if there is hydronephrosis or obstruction to the flow of urine.
