A member asked:

One slightly swollen lymph node and difficulty swallowing, what could be wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Numerous causes: Anything from irritation at the base of the tongue (pharyngitis or sore throat from a virus or bacteria) to a partial blockage of the esophagus from a tumor (which can spread to a lymph node). You really need to see a doctor if is more than a sore throat like those you have had in the past.
