I am experiencing swollen tonsils (quality: white or yellowish spots on tonsils) and sore throat. the following also describe me: enlarged or tender lymph nodes, spots on throat, difficulty swallowing, and neck pain. what should i do?

Sore throat: You need to get your throat checked by an ent. You need also to make sure you don't have mono. After that a decision will be made on the chronicity of your condition and whether the tonsil need to come out. Good luck and feel better!
