ERCP report: Biliary sphincterotomy and balloon sweep done. CBD stone extracted. Occlusion cholangiogram - clear CBD. The doc has said, the stone is removed and needs no follow up. Just want to know, does the report mean no CBD stent was placed?
ERCP report: Dilated CBD with stone (size of 9 mm). Biliary sphincterotomy & balloon sweep done. CBD stone extracted, CBD cleared. Occlusion cholangiogram - clear CBD. Does this indicate that a stent wasn't required to be placed in the CBD?
