Have it evaluated: A swollen gland or lymph node should be evaluated by your doctor. You need to check if there are other lymph nodes that are swollen. It may just be an infection, but you want to make certain that it is not a manifestation of something more serious like lymphoma. These are cancers that localize in the lymph nodes. Many types are very treatable when caught early.
