Not likely: Cough is the most common symptom of bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchi [lining of the lungs]). It is common associated with production of mucus (sputum), which can be clear, white, yellowish-gray or green in color; fatigue; slight fever and chills; and chest discomfort. If there is no cough, then other diagnoses should be entertained.
