Here are...: Generally speaking, cyst is used to describe a space with its biologically active lining to actively balance its secretion and absorption, with or without an opening like a gland. When such opening is poorly draining, the gland space slowly dilates to form a cyst. In males, Littre's glands of urehtra and Cowper's glands; in females, Skene's glands or inside urethra itself as urethral diverticulum.
