A member asked:

How is it that an ob specialist found out the baby has down syndrome at 35 weeks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ultrasound: I will assume you are talking about prenatal diagnosis. There are some features on an ultrasound that are more often seen in Down syndrome babies than the regular population. However, confirmation would require chromosome studies done after birth.
