Please clarify: Hi. What do you mean by "tyrosine thyroid"? Tyrosine is an amino acid used in thyroid cells to synthesize thyroid hormone and the thyroid is a gland. I can't figure what entity you are asking about as "tyrosine thyroid". If the thyroid gland stops working (hypothyroidism), THAT can cause modest weight gain. Good luck!
