A few things: It could be a swollen lymph node, mastoiditis, or a sebaceous cyst. If it has been there for over a month then i would go see a doctor to rule out anything serious.

Any lump that is: Attached to the underlying structure versus freely mobile need to be evaluated . Suggest to be seen by your doc.
