See your doctor: Arthritis related to uric acid, would be rare in your age group but still possible, it would require very specific medical treatment and less likely to respond to equipment such as bands /straps which are most beneficial for symptoms from osteoarthritis. Rheumitology referral may be warranted.

Needs eval: Uric acid level may or may not be related to the arthritis. Rheumatologic evaluation needed. Pain behind knee may be fluid accumulation. Straps will not help and exercise could make it worse if the underlying arthritis is not treated.
