Gerd: Sounds like gerd. You need a ppi like Prilosec or nexium (esomeprazole).

Needs biopsy: Needs biopsy to assure not underlying cause. If that does not provide answer, evaluation by a rheumatologist may help. Unusual diseases, such as behcet syndrome would be considered.
