A member asked:

Taking augumentin and have not seen my menstrual period. why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not sure: Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) typically doesn't interfere with your menstrual cycle. A stressful infection, can though. Could there be any other reason why you're period is late? Did you try a pregnancy test? Antibiotics alone, as a medication, don't typically cause a delay in your period. Hope that helps!
