Rarely . . .: . . . do tubal procedures fail. However, it has been known to happen (1've personally seen 2 cases in 20 years). Your best bet would simply be to do a home pregnancy test, to put all concerns to rest. Best of luck.

Take pregnancy test: Depending upon your reference, failure rate for tubal ligation (tying tubes) is quoted at 2-10/1,000 women. So if you engage in unprotected sex (and why not? you had your tubes tied!) and you've missed your normally regularly periods, yes, there's a chance you could be pregnant. So take home pregnancy test, available at pharmacies w/o prescription. Many other reasons for skipped menses so see doc
