NO: The fact that you had your period means that you are not pregnant. You may have had an episode of break through bleeding in addition to your period. If you miss your period then take a home pregnancy test.

Unlikely: You may well have been pregnant and had a very early miscarriage. My suggestion would be to call your obgyn and have him/her order a blood-based, or serum, pregnancy test. It will confirm whether you are pregnant or not, but won't necessarily confirm whether the pregnancy is healthy until you do a second such test and see an appropriate rise in hcg, the hormone that is measured in these tests.

Maybe: If you continue to be "late" then you need to take a upt and avoid alchol until you know for sure. It could be other stuff, but first things first is to rule in/out pregnancy.

Pregnancy test?: If your period is late and you are sexually active then you might be pregnant. A pregnancy test is available over-the-counter and is a reliable way to identify if you are currently pregnant or not. These are very sensitive tests and can usually detect pregnancy early in the course.

Take the test: If you want to know if you are pregnant, take a test. In today's world you do not need to wonder if you are pregnant or not based on symptoms. Pregnancy tests are available at any pharmacy and in minutes you will have your answer. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.
