Is calf swollen: Information is insufficient. Deep vein thrombosis is possible if calf is swollen. Pinched nerve in lumbar spine to any where along the sciatic nerve is possible. See your gp.

Neuropathy: Sounds like you could be having a nerve problem from either tarsal tunnel / nerve impingement / or even a diabetic neuropathy - depending on the exact distribution of your symptoms, and whether or not they are symmetric in both legs.
