Depends on how long: Thank you for thinking about that. Most bronchitis is viral and those illness are typically infectious for a week to 10 days. You can continue to have a cough after the infectious period is gone. If you are working in close contact to others it matters more to wait until you're sure you're not infectious. It's most important to cough into something that can stop droplet spread.
