An essential vitamin: Vitamin k is essential for our blood to form clots and stop us from bleeding. It may also be involved in bone health. Vitamin k is in kale, spinach, turnip greens, collards, swiss chard, mustard greens, parsley, romaine, green leaf lettuce, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage. The bacteria in your intestinal tract make some vitamin k also.
