Depends: The procedure to remove our top wisdom teeth will depend upon whether or not your wisdom teeth are erupted and visible in the mouth or impacted. Sometimes an erupted wisdom tooth with large roots or long narrow roots may require more effort and time to remove than an impacted wisdom tooth. Your dentist or surgeon can provide you with more specific details regarding his or her technique.

Same as others !: The surgeon will numb the area first. Second, he or she will usually need to expose the tooth if it is not visible in the mouth. A small incision is made to access the tooth. The gum tissue is gently pulled away to see the tooth. Sometimes only a single instrument is needed to twist the tooth out. Otherwise, a drill may be needed to help remove bone to facilitate it's removal. Talk to your doc!
