How to know if my rotator cuff is torn or just bruised?

Rotator cuff pain: Incomplete tears of the rotator cuff cannot be clinically differentiated from other cuff injury. An MRI scan or ultrasound evaluation will determine if the injury to the cuff is a partial tear or irritation. Tendon is poorly vascularized and can either calcify or thicken with scar was well as have tears. All tend to be painful and limit range of motion in the joint.
