Dark spot: Depends i. What is causing the dark spot. It could be sock lint so simply removing the lint will help. If it is the start of fungus starting a topical medication would be helpful. If it is closer to the cuticle the i would recommend having an evaluation to rule out melanoma.

Not enough info: It depends on what is causing the dark spot. Is it dirt, ink, a mole, a bruise? You need to let a podiatrist or dermatologist see it to diagnose and recommend treatment.

Agree : But could also be leather dye from shoe. Can't tell you how many times this happens but play it safe and get it checked.
