May not need to: Lab testing isn't "one size fits all." a lab may list 1.2 as the "upper limit of the reference range", but a muscular patient can and should have a higher level. When i was lifting daily, my creatinine stayed at 1.6, and an elite bodybuilder's is likely to 2.0 or so. The level itself doesn't make you sick; it's just one piece of information to tell whether there's kidney disease.
