1200 mg a day.: You're 39 and on arimidex. I suppose you already had a bilateral oophorectomy? Or are also taking Lupron or zoladex?1200 mg of calcium and 800 international units (iu) of vitamin d daily are suggested. To make it easy, patients can take something like caltrate that has 600 mg calcium per pill and 400 to 500 iu vitamin d per pill. Patients usually take one pill twice a day. All the best, hk.
