Pneumaturia?: Gas in the urine (pneumaturia) is commonly due to either a gas-forming bladder infection or a connection between intestine and bladder (fistula). Fistulae are commonly due to inflammatory bowel disease such as crohn's or diverticulitis, prior surgery, or malignancy. You should have a urine culture first. If negative, ct scan is next step.
