HIV Risk: In many places in the western world this is a crime punishable by imprisonment. Does you aunt know his HIV status? Is he on HIV medications? Are they working? But, if the district attorney or the police knew he was doing this he could be arrested and face many years in jail.

Hmmmmm....: I bet either your aunt doesn't know his HIV status or she is actually HIV positive, herself. If neither of those are correct, she could be on antiviral medication to minimize the risk of transmission of the virus.

Many reasons!: 1) she is 'lucky", 2) she has a natural resistance to infections, 3) your uncle has a less stronger/virulent strain of hiv. 3) your uncle may be on newer medications that have weakened the hiv..
