Depends: Finger fractures in general may be splinted for 2-6 weeks, depending on the type and extent of your injury. Not only can there be injury to bone but also to tendons, muscles and ligaments. Please follow with a physician during your recovery and rehabilitation.

Finger Fracture: I non-displaced fracture of the middle phalanx that does not involve a joint can be treated with a splint. In a 32y/o normal healing is 4-6 weeks.

4-6 weeks: Generally 4-6 weeks is how long it takes for bone to solidify and heal. It is advisable that you wear the splint until your doctor has suggested removal.
