Patience: Fractures heal with time, finger fractures take 3 weeks. Care must be taken to assure that the bones are healing in good alignment, i.e. Xray.

Wear the splint: Fractures in in 2-3 months. The best advice is to follow the direction of your orthopaedic surgeon.
