Lumps in mouth: I would guess that the two symptoms are unrelated and nothing very serious. However, they do need to be looked at and evaluated. I would suggest you seeing an oral surgeon for that.

Benign: Plugged salivary gland ducts could be likely but need more information or an exam to be sure.
