I went to the doctor a few weeks ago and discoverd that i have a murmer. he said it is most likely rhuematoid heart but didn't explain what it is or how it happend. what shouldi do?

Get echo of heart: Rheumatoid heart is very uncommon in us in 24yrs old. We mostly see in immigrants at this age.Most common valve effected is mital valve withl stenosis. Depending on severity , treatment will range from meds, balloning valve and replacement of valve.

Rheumatoid heart: More than likely he meant a rheumatic fever heart. It is caused by an untreated strep infection which occured approximately three weeks before. For verification see a cardiologist.
