Maybe: If the sore throat and trouble swallowing have been gradually increasing and/or you have noticed that your thyroid feel larger you should be re-evaluated.

Possible: Depends on how big the gland was originally. If it's been a long time since you have it rechecked, now would be the time. It's possible that your current symptom is thyroid related, although unlikely.
