Lung transplant: Lung transplantation s are done for chronic end stage lung disease that has failed to respond to medical treatments for which no further medical treatment is available .Some examples of the disease's include idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, copd, cystic fibrosis , pulmonary arterial hypertension to name some. Selection criteria is based on several factors including over all health of patient.
