Yes: Contractions can be perceived differently in different women. Some women have 'back labor', where they feel contractions mostly in their lower back, while others note contractions in lower abdomen as well as over the entire belly. If you feel you are in labor, it is recommened to be seen by your doctor as soon as possible.
