Spine: This is most likely some type of issue with your spine if much of your left leg goes numb. It may be a radiculopaty, or pinched irritated nerve in your back, ir something more serious like spinal stenosis if it improves when you lean onto the counter. I would recommend seeing a spine or pain physician to give you a physical exam, imaging, EMG and see what is going on in your back. Hope that helps!
