See doc ASAP: This is not normal and you should seek care immediately, as this has been ongoing for months. The wt loss is from not eating, but you need to find out why you lost your appetite...On medications? Thyroid diseases, infections such as hiv, depression, and/or cancers etc...Can cause this...Thus it is important that you seek care asap. Best of luck to you.
