Test results: Even though paps aren't routinely started until age 21 now, if you had a pap and it was abnormal it might be that doctor wants to do a colposcopy for abnormal pap or it could be he wants to do a wet prep to look for an infection picked up on the pap like trich or BV to confirm it.

No: Dont worry until you have a reason to. Doctor may need to do a retest or just confirmation. No point in worrying about something you know nothing about.
