Difficult. Phlebotom: Hemosiderosis is a serious disease where iron deposits into various organ tissues causing destruction if tissue and disease. The disease depends on where the iron is depositing. Common areas are the lungs causing pulmonary hypertension, the liver causing cirrhosis, the pancreas causing diabetes. Rx is geared toward removing iron (phlebotomy, chelation), and treating the organ diseased.
