Flushing: many thing: The main causes are hot flashes, hyperthyroidism, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder. Other causes include morphine withdrawal, and menopause. Also in the list are emphysema, a gastric or pancreatic tumor, anaphylaxis, lupus, sotos syndrome, and woodhouse-sakati syndrome. Obviously you need to see your family doctor or a dermatologist to rule out physical causes and if you have a psychiatric cause make an appointment with a psychiatrist and psychologist.
