Fever: Sounds like you developed a fever, and my next instruction to you would be to take your temperature.You describe almost perfectly the sequence of symptoms when your temperature rises quickly. Fever is just a symptom, as are things like cough, runny nose, etc. Drink lots of fluids, get rest and if new or concerning symptoms develop or fever is high and not resolving, need to seek medical evaluation
