Alternatives: Cryotherapy is only one way to treat prostate cancer in a 78 year old male. It certainly carries a risk of incontinence higher than other treatment options such as brachytherapy. Get all the options before choosing treatment. See a good urologist as well as a radiation oncologists. The more you know the better decision you can make.

Prostate Cancer: Good for you. Not sure what you are asking here. But, all of us would defer to your urologist. If cryotherapy is on the list of options that your urologist offered then go for it.
