You can't: There is some evidence that the degree of myopia progression can be decreased with certain treatments (bright light when reading as a child, certain contact lens wear), but there is nothing that has been consistently shown to work. Fortunately, the progression usually stops in early adulthood. If not, see an eye doctor to discuss options to treat you.
