Ovarian failure. : Menopause is caused by ovarian failure. The ovaries run out of eggs, and therefore are no longer fertile and also cannot produce female hormones. The eggs usually produce estrogen and progesterone. So, once in menopause, a woman's body is in a state of double hormone deficiency...Which causes many short and longterm symptoms. Hot flashes, vaginal dryness, urine leakage, brain fog, insomnia, etc.

Exercise : One of the best methods of treating menopausal symptoms is regular cardiovascular exercise, 60 min a day. Good sleep hygiene is another. As it is a healthy diet and avoiding caffeine and alcohol. None of the over-the-counter supplements have been proven to be effective. There are some medications which can be effective but you need to see your doctor to discuss this. Best of luck.
