Why would someone need an palm acupuncture doctor?

Not exactly sure I: Understand what you are referring to. There are diagnostics done with palm using traditional chinese medicine. Palm is used for treatment of carpal tunnel. I do not know of a specific form of acupuncture utilizing only the hand.

Korean acupuncture: There is a form of korean acupuncture that uses the palm. In this form, the whole body is represented on the palm of the hand, so treatments involve needles only there. This differs from traditional chinese medicine, which uses the whole body. Auricular acupuncture in tcm contains points linked to the entire body also.
