Which surgery hurts more? gallbladder removal or hernia

Varies: Each person is different & depends if you are asking about open surgery or laparoscopic surgery. Laparoscopic gallbladder surgery may have less pain than an open inguinal or open ventral hernia. Highly variable from one person to another.

Gallbladder and hern: Both operations hernia repair and gallbladder removal can be done laparoscopically and therefore pain is diminished. Talk to your surgeon and let them know of your interest in a minimally invasive approach. Be well.
