Parasites: None that i know of. I have never heard or read an article showing that parasites live on toothbrushes with plastic bristles and handles in rare cases fungus maybe. Be sure your brush can air dry daily and change when worn. If you are still worried run through dw or let sit in 1 part bleach and 3 parts water for 15 min then rinse well.

TB contamination: It’s doubtful actual parasites would be of concern on toothbrushes, at least in the continental us. Bacteria and viruses are common and more likely. You can research it on the internet. Here is one such study: http://www.Hindawi.Com/journals/nrp/2012/420630/ if you think you have a special situation warranting such concerns, consult with a local infectious disease specialist.
