Uncertain what you: mean by "fleshy". Maybe tissue from lining of uterus being shed. If you have a change in color, texture, odor or amount of vaginal discharge & problems such as pain, itching burning with urination or sex or redness/swelling then It is best to see your gynecologist for evaluation & accurate assessment.

Fleshy or fishy?: Did you mean to write fishy? Or maybe misunderstood your doctor when s/he said fishy? A fishy odor to vaginal fluid is often a sign of infection, especially bacterial vaginosis and sometimes trichomonas. See your doctor if this is the problem and hasn't been evaluated or treated.
