Black hairy tongue: Somehow you have developed what sounds like lack hairy tongue. It is an imbalance in the bacterial flora of the mouth. It can be brought on by taking antibiotics or using a mouthrise (hydrogen peroxide) that kills some of the "good" bacteria that keeps things in balance. If your are taking meds or using such a rinse...Stop it and the problem should go away. Antibiotics..Talk to who prescribed.

Black hairy tongue: Your tongue can turn black from a condition called black hairy tongue (sounds weird, huh). It's not really hairy...The taste buds get elongated and become pigmented from bacteria, food, and drinks. No treatment necessary other than clean the tongue with a toothbrush.
