What does a 3cm cyst looks like?

See answer: Depends on where the cyst is. Cysts are usually round in shape, often they can be fluid filled. A 3cm cyst would be a little smaller than the size of a ping pong ball. Discuss any results you are unsure of with the dr. So that you are at the center of your care. Good luck.

Cyst: Cyst is like balloon filed with fluid and has a thin wall. On skin it would be like blister to eye, fluctuating with touch and easy to rupture if pressure applied. 3 cm is the diameter size. On ultra sound and ct scan it would be round. Usually present on kidney, ovaries, breast, thyroid & liver. Thanks.
