?white spots: White spots on the lips can be several different things. A baby can develop thrush in the mouth which looks like white patches that are located on the inner lips, inner cheek, roof of the mouth, or on the tongue. It often is painful for the baby to feed and if nursing the infection can transfer to the breast. You should schedule a visit with your baby's doctor to have this evaluated.
